This have happened to the US to. If you read command and control you'll find out the US have had 32 nuclear mishap were they've literally dropped nuclear bombs on the ground, had planes with bombs who have catched fire, misplaced a screwdriver inside a bomb and so on. Imagine the Russian mishaps that have never been reported. Still nuclear weapons have probably saved more lifes than it has taken
